Description: AAV(PHP.B)-CMV-Cre-GFP
is a pre-packaged rAAV in serotype PHP.B (with capsid from AAV serotype PHP.B and 2xITR
from AAV serotype 2) which express Cre recombinase and EGFP under CMV promoter
in two separate expression cassette. This product used in the Cre-lox system as
a genetic tool to generate site-specific recombination of DNA between loxP sites
in cultured cells and animal experiments.
Compared
with rAAV serotype 9, rAAV in serotype PHP.B is able to penetrate brain-blood
barrier (BBB) and infect CNS via tail vein I.V. with 50 times better
transduction efficiency. Ready to use format.
